Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
HUSL (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2026/584856/07), a company incorporated in South Africa, is the responsible party for the personal information described in this policy. Our products include My Office Assistant (MOA).
2. What we collect
- Account details — the name, email address, business name and mobile number you give us when signing up.
- Business records you create — invoices, expenses, contacts, stock and related accounting data you record through our products.
- Messages — the content of messages you send to our products, including over WhatsApp, and our replies to them.
- Technical data — log data such as IP address, device and browser type, and timestamps, kept for security and troubleshooting.
3. Why we use it
- To provide the service you signed up for and keep your records accurate.
- To process your messages and carry out the actions you ask for.
- To bill you, support you, and notify you about material changes to the service.
- To secure the service, prevent abuse, and meet our legal obligations.
4. WhatsApp and other messaging channels
Where you interact with our products over WhatsApp, your messages are delivered through WhatsApp and our messaging provider before reaching us, and are handled under their own terms and privacy policies in addition to this one. We use message content only to operate the service for you. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising.
5. Sharing
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the service — hosting, messaging, email delivery and payment processing — and only to the extent they need it. We may also disclose information where the law requires it. We do not sell personal information.
6. Retention and security
We keep your business records for as long as your account is active, and afterwards only as long as we are required to for legal, tax and accounting purposes. Data is stored on access-controlled infrastructure, encrypted in transit, with each customer's records isolated from every other customer's.
7. Your rights
Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email info@husl.co.za and we will respond within a reasonable time. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
8. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change is material, tell account holders directly.
